Bauchi gov inaugurates new cabinet


Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has sworn in the newly-appointed members of his cabinet, charging them to protect the rights of the citizens.

The governor, who had dissolved his cabinet about three months ago, inaugurated new Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief of Staff (CoS), Principal Private Secretary (PPS) and 21 commissioners, to give him smooth ride in the 2023 general elections.

During the swearing-in at the new Government House Annex, yesterday, Mohammed said he had appointed competent SSG, PPS, CoS and deputy.

He said: “The commissioners are tested technocrats and politicians. We are going into the 2023 general elections and we must manage the transition from governance.”
