Akinlade supports restructuring as BSN offers path

Bishop of the Diocese of Ife, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Rt. Rev. Olubunmi Akinlade, has called on the Federal Government to stop shying away from the reality and embark on restructuring for mutual and peaceful co-existence in the country.

He said this at a press briefing in the Bishop’s Court, Ife, where he announced the first session of the 11th Synod of the diocese scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2021.

SIMILARLY, the Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) has reminded Nigerians that the only panacea to corruption and societal ills prevalent in the country is to wholly return to God by reading and obeying His Word.

General Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of BSN, Pastor Samuel Sanusi, stated this at Saviour African Cathedral, Agege, where he declared open the 2021 and 19th edition of Marathon Bible Reading. which started from 9.00 a.m.- 5.00 p.m. and ends today.
